What if everyone at Barrington read the same book?

The Barrington Book is a school-wide book club in which participating families read the same story at home over the course of a few weeks.

In addition to sharing a good book, students have a chance to answer book-related trivia questions read over the morning announcements at school. Correct trivia answers are included in a prize raffle each week. It is our hope that this is an enjoyable family activity and helps build a strong community of readers in our school.

The PTO Learning Adventures Committee is pleased to announce the next Barrington Book…

Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo!

Program registration begins the week of January 8th. Book orders must be submitted by January 19th at the latest. You are welcome to find your own copy of the book or purchase a book from the PTO for $5 each. If you are reading aloud as a family only one copy is needed; however, feel free to order as many copies as you’d like.
