Poetry: Canoe

“Canoe” by Matthew, grade 5 As I was fishing in my crescent moon canoe, my paddle kept going kerploosh. My canoe kept going woosh through the water like a knife through butter. When I was paddling, I saw a fish. I took careful aim, speared the fish and took it home for dinner.
