Barrington Coats for Kids

We have just experienced our first sign of cooling temperatures and realization that winter is just around the corner.  As the weather gets cold, we are fortunate our kids can bundle up to stay warm. Let’s help other kids do the same!

The PTO Service Committee will be coordinating donations of winter outerwear with donations going to the Salvation Army.  Those in need receive a certificate that can be redeemed at the Salvation Army store to receive a FREE coat.  Your family may have outgrown last year’s winter outerwear.  Please set them aside and donate to others.

Acceptable items – kids & adult coats, fleece pullovers, sweatshirts, hats, boots & gloves.

Collection points

  • hallway outside main office
  • Barrington road entrance/exit
  • Barrington cafeteria / SACC entrance/exit
  • 2442 Kensington Drive under the awning at the front door (if that is more convenient)

Coat collection will start this week, November 3rd and go through Thanksgiving break. You can even bring your outerwear donation with you when you vote!
